Benedict Kim or "Ben" as he is known to his friends has been involved in photography for over a decade. He got his start in photography during caving expeditions in Mexico where he discovered a love for photography. He is currently a full time photographer specializing in immersive panoramas and virtual tour. At first, it was a simple way to record his adventure, preserve memories, and share them. The first camera was a Kodak point and shoot with a few manual features. The caving expeditions offered the perfect environment for learning; interesting, fun, willing models, and a unique view of the world built in. Great ingredients makes great food, right?
Over time, he discovered he had a knack for photography and his work became more and more sought after by friends and associates. His love of travel and adventure fueled the photography and visa versa. Over the last decade he has amassed a significant personal collection of photos just for the love of the art. He is a seasoned adventure photographer with all the gear to wander off into the bush and say for weeks on end. However his portfolio covers a wide variety from grand landscape and adventure to the study of different cultures and people and food for example.
Currently Ben is a full time photographer working throughout Belize, Guatemala, and parts of Mexico. The immersive panoramas and virtual tours that started so basic are now each thoughtfully composed stills from almost every angle. There are relatively few photographers that are accomplished in this arena and Ben's work speaks for itself. He is known for high quality and detailed work. Good work takes time and Ben is always willing to spend to time to satisfy his clients.
