Princess Casino in Belize City:  We tried the lunch buffet. It's $12.00 BZ and actually very good for the money. It's a bit limited in scope buy the food was excellent and the restaurant was clean. That's usually a good indicator for cleanliness of the kitchen but around here who knows. We are however sad to report that the bartender working the lunch crowd is mentally retarded and the slowest human on the planet. We give our sincerest condolences to her immediate family and friends.

Sahara Grill in Belize City:  It's right across from Belize Biltmore at mile mark 4.5 on the Northern Highway. You should eat there. Eunes spent two years in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and felt this place was about as authentic lebanese as it gets. The food was reasonably priced and fantastic. We'll be back there again.

D'Nest Inn at Belize City: D'Nest Inn was our choice for accommodations for our overnight in Belize City. Gabby & Ote are the owners of this great little bed & breakfast and some of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

Introduction

Eunes and I are getting married. I'm 47 and have managed to put off this world wide ubiquitous ceremony for 47 years. Now after wandering around Mexico and parts of Central America, it's really going to happen. I flirted with a woman I shouldn't have and now it's done. We're getting married September 10th, 2011. It's a small ceremony with just immediate family. Eunes has some stand ins since most of her rather huge family is in the Philippines. For my friends out there that read this and didn't get an invitation please don't be offended, it a small simple wedding. 

Now as for the honeymoon and travels, that's different.We've got almost seven weeks to shoot and have fun, seven weeks of time just for Eunes and I. Time to just stop. Stop and let time slow down to a snail's pace and take in the scenery. I do archtectural photography but I think my first love is still adventure and travel photography. We'll spend three weeks in the United States and then nearly four weeks on honeymoon throughout Mexico just roaming.

I've always wanted to go back and shoot many of the places I've been but couldn't for a variety of reasons. There is so much of Mexico I want to go through now with my pro lenses and bodies. This is going to be fun on so may levels. So for family and friends, share this little journey with us. We're in Belize City and it's 4:04am in the morning. We're driving to Corozal today and I'll post what I get later. Our travels start now.
